Teacher’s Workshop

Welcome to the “Art Heart” workshop, an inspiring and enriching art experience brought to you by the talented artist, Jude Ifesieh. This workshop, held at the Spectrum Senior Newcomer Workshop on Painting in Regent Park, is a celebration of Indigenous culture, featuring the mesmerizing beauty of dots and the captivating allure of natural landscapes.

Art Heart Daniel is a heartfelt tribute to the Indigenous people, their rich heritage, and their harmonious coexistence with nature. Throughout the workshop, participants will explore the significance of Indigenous art, its symbolism, and its vital role in preserving cultural identity.

The use of dots in Indigenous art has a long and meaningful history. Representing connection, unity, and the interdependence of all living things, dots create a mesmerizing tapestry of culture and meaning. Participants learned the technique of dot painting, allowing them to express their thoughts and emotions in a unique and powerful way.
