Born in Nigeria, Jude first came across a pencil at the age of three and has never quite let it go since then. Given his fascination for the arts and sciences, he was provided with the option to study Pharmacy, but he chose an education in drawing and composition from teachers who were renowned both locally and internationally.
During his studies, he made good use of the resources available to him to nurture his latent talent. After completing his degree in Fine Art Education, he won a bursary to a summer school in Australia and then taught art as an instructor in Lagos.
In the cause of his travels, Jude visited the Metropolitan Museum, the Museum of Modern Arts in Manhattan, and the Fine Art Museum in Houston, USA, where he spent time studying and sketching works of great masters. He also attended workshops in Vermont and in his home country.
In 2011, Jude moved to Toronto to study Digital Animation after his visit in 2007, where he featured at the Nuit Blanche Exhibition. Having graduated in 2014 and already showing his masterpieces, Jude taught 3D modeling to youths of Regent Park Focus and was the lead Art Instructor at the Artheart Community Art Centre from 2014 to 2018.
Jude was also a facilitator and instructor with students with developmental disabilities at ArtBeat, Unison Health. He currently is a certified Ontario Visual Arts Teacher and works in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and Modern Batik with lots of upcoming shows to his credit.
